Damn you, storytelling class. I now have a small little story I could write for NaNo. I'm not supposed to be doing NaNo because that will be the time I'm planning on (re)writing and expanding my BA thesis. I have six weeks starting on either November 1 or sometime in December.

I think I passed statistics. There was one horrible hypogeometric exercise that I pretty much had to ignore but other than that it went well despite some really weirdly phrased questions.

I guess I'll have to wait for about a month until I know for sure. Till then, I have plenty of other stuff to do.

I'm exhausted.

Writing, structure and history of english, ringvorlesung, phonology and syntax are done. The last final I have until october is statistics which is a lot scarier than everyhing else put together and I really want to passnit so I don't have to retake it in october as that would take away precious time I want to spend on my ba thesis.

After spending a lot of time wondering when the best time to write my BA thesis would be (we were talking about either November 2012 or July or August 2013), my advisor (who also offered to supervise the thesis) suggested I just sit down and write it NOW during my summer break, then use the six weeks starting on November 1 for rewrites, etc. and I' ( Read more... )

We were gonna go downtown real quick but ended up only getting here now. We're exhausted, more than just my feet hurt (that annoying part of the jeans where they rub against the skin. Does anyone else but me ever get that?).

Almost 2pm and we'll be at the border soon. We're 140km from the hotel and should arrive in an hour and a half. I've driven for 300ish km and now Matze's driving.
